This blog has been set up in order to make available in one place all newspaper letters and articles relating to forestry, and forest-dependent people in Guyana, which are published in that country. This blog also posts links to other related topics, such as: - Amerindians (Guyana's indigenous peoples) - natural resources policies and practices - policies and laws which affect the forest sector but which are not directly linked - global trade in logs extracted from tropical moist forests in Guyana, including apparently illegal logging. Over time they hope to post older materials which may be available electronically.
