As Forestry Services Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to plan, assign, and supervise the work of multiple crews performing tree maintenance in the parks, parkways, and on public grounds; supervise, train, and evaluate staff; conduct safety meetings and enforce safety regulations; prioritize and assign work; and coordinate work with other departments, public agencies, and private utility companies and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of responsible tree maintenance experience. A valid Driver?s License, a Pest Control Applicator?s License, and certification as an Arborist by the International Society of Arborculture are required at hiring. You must also have a Pest Control Advisor?s License or the ability to meet all current state requirements to obtain the Pest Control Advisor License at time of hire and obtain the license within 12 months of employment.
