Our History
Our clients have relied on us for their land, turf and tree care needs for more than 24 years. Founded in 1986 by William A. Russell Jr. in Woodstock, VT, we began as Chippers: Your Land Enhancement Crew. In 2002, we merged with Treescapes, Lebanon, NH tree companies, greatly expanding our arboricultural expertise, and its former owner, Cal Felicetti, remains with us as our lead consulting arborist and manager. In 2005, we acquired the former French’s Tree Service of Meredith, NH, and its former owner Phil French remained with us until his 2008 retirement as a sales consultant and trainer. In 2008 we added a Turf and Soil Care to our diversity of services with the hiring of a new manager Theron Peck, formerly with TruGreen for over 20 years. After the untimely passing of Will Russell in 2010 his spouse and business partner of the prior decade, Mundy Wilson, became Owner & General Manager.

Is to establish and sustain Chippers Inc. as the premier provider of services in the areas of Tree Preservation, Turf & Soil Care, Land Enhancement and Forestry. To do so, we strive every day to:
